FINISHED OUR MONSTER!

Yesterday we finished making our monster and we..... stuck it together!
On Thursday I had Finished my two parts and mrs m told me to help with the toes.

THE MONSTER PROJECT

This term we are competing  in the monster project . We all get a part each to make and draw.
Mine are the nose and eye glasses. First we get are two descriptions and then read and then
practice in  your ideas book then you draw it on your blue print after that you write a materials list.

Then you wait for everyone else to finish then we make!

MY POEM

Today we read a poem called Doodledum Dancing.
Most words in the poem were action words which ended in ing.We also discovered the poem had a pattern so we thought this is going to be easy- we'll make our own.

Here is the Doodledum Poem verse I innovated on:
I'm rocking, I'm reeling
I'm whirlgig wheeling
I'm tip-tapping my toesies
And singing my song.

And this is mine!
I'm tapping, I'm turning
I'm ting tang churning
I'm turl-curling my hair
And playing along.

MY ACROSTIC POEM

Today Mrs M told us what an acrostic poem is.

It is a poem which you chose a word  mine is Monsters.

This is my poem:

Meadow the monster

On the barn house roof

Never shows any sorts of deadly actions

Shy, sometimes but cheeky

Thin as a stick

Expert at standing up to people
Reir as glass

Sticky after she eats maple sypup

See how all my sentances start with either M,O,N,S,T,E,R and S again.

LITTER IS POLLUTING MORETON BAY

People are polluting Moreton Bay.
I belive people are polluting moreton Bay too much.
If you don't put your rubbish in the bin it pollutes the water ways
because of this Moreton Bay wildlife is getting sick.
Did you know that turtles think plastic bags are jellyfish and possibly die from eating them.
Litter can be smelly and unhealthy this sometimes makes the water unhygenic.
So think wisely before you drop your rubbish into the water.

INVESTIGATING MULTIPLIYCAITION

We used patterning to help us understand repeated addition. I used the attribute of colour for mine and I used 4 elements in my pattern. I used fotobabble to make my recording.
